Nurturing Newborns and Infant Care (NNIC) is dedicated to providing Mothers and babies with attentive, loving, and qualified care. Our focus is to create an environment for the family that is nurturing for the baby and mom to bond and grow together as a new family. We offer many different indulgence including postpartum help for mother and baby, over-night care and night nannying, soothing sleep training, baby nurses that can assist during the day, and lactation help. We are specialized in the progressive care of preemies, newborns, and multiples and have the experience working with babies that may have health complications . Our certified sleep trainers, Doulas, night nannies, and professional care-givers have many years of experience to help you achieve a calm, nurturing, and well-organized home environment with your baby. You will be in the best hands at NNIC! Currently serving the Kansas City and surrounding areas.

OUR SERVICES

1 HOUR SLEEP TRAINING PHONE CONSULTATION

This includes a personalized sleep schedule and a step by step training to help get your little one sleeping through the night.  A 3 day sleep and activity log is required before a phone call and includes 1 week of daily check-ins via text or email.

2 HOUR IN HOME SLEEP CONSULTATION

A certified sleep trainer will come to your home and meet with you and your baby to provide a custom schedule for sleeping, and a nursery walk-through to discuss products to assist in sleeping through the night, as well as nursery safety tips.  One week of follow-up via text or email, as well as a phone call at the end of the first week.

 8 HOUR OVER-NIGHT SLEEP TRAINING SESSION

A sleep trainer will stay in your home for 1 night of training to assess babies’ habits and routines and provide you with extensive notes and a personalized schedule to help your infant sleep through the night. A nursery walkthrough will be offered to make any adjustments necessary to better sleeping habits as well as giving you a night off to catch up on sleep and know your baby is in the most loving hands. 2 weeks worth of follow-up assistance via text or email with 2 phone calls at the end of each week are also offered with this package. 

FULL SLEEP TRAINING PACKAGE

This is a contract for 16-20 weeks for 5-7 days a week for 10-12 hours a night. This guarantees that your infant/infants will be sleeping by the end of our time together. We will customize a schedule to ensure consistency in sleeping once we are finished. Adjustments may need to be made due to gestational age. We can accommodate your babies’ way by offering RN’s, CNA’s, LPN’s, Certified sleep trainers, Newborn Care Specialist, Night Doula and a Night nannies.  Our staff here at NNIC uses only the most gentle and nurturing ways to guide a baby into the most healthy sleep habits that your infant will carry with him or her throughout childhood.

POSTPARTUM DOULA AND NIGHT NANNY SERVICES

Help is on the way! We offer this service for new moms that may need some additional care and assistance as they find their way through the motherhood journey. We will come and take care of all of the baby and mother’s needs in order to have a relaxing and tranquil evening. Our goal is to let mom rest and recuperate as much as needed while we are in the home. This service can be scheduled weekly or on an “as needed” basis. 

NEWBORN CARE SPECIALIST CONTRACT

The contract is usually for a duration of 6 months to a year, This is a certified Newborn Care Specialist or a baby nurse that will work within your home during the week for a minimum of 40 hours. This differs from a nanny in the way of our trained specialist’s will implement a schedule to assist in night routine, as well as handle any baby-related care, postpartum support  for mothers, lactation assistance, product knowledge on baby items, milestones for infants, baby-related errands as well as nursery set up prior to babies arrival. The staff at Nurturing Newborns and Infant Care specialize in multiples and preemies for this service as well.  Milestones will be worked on throughout the contract as well as introducing solids and homemaking infant food. Assistance to Dr. appointments and baby-related outings will also be included. Once a contract is nearing to an end we will help hire and train your next loving set of hands to care for your baby.
